40' Charter Cat
(40.00 feet - 12.2 m) 12m Dive Charter Catamaran. Designed by the prominent Kiwi catamaran designer Ron Given and built in composite construction by Hi-Tech Yachts WA in 1995. Fantastic sea boat in survey for 8 berthed + 2 crew, 23 day passengers + 2 crew and 3C for 4 crew. All surveys recently renewed. The 2 x Yanmar 350HP each motors drive her at 24 knots. Motors and gearboxes are only 2000hrs from new in 2006. Spares include a shaft, propeller and 2 x 315hp Yanmars. Very economical to run – at 19 knots, 2700rpm she uses 25 litres per hour per motor. A 10.5kVA gen set is fitted, plus shore power, battery charger, house banks and solar panels. 34.7m Passenger Ferry
(113.80 feet - 34.7 m) 34.7m aluminium new build passenger ferry is offered for sale. The hull is built to Germanischer Lloyd Class 100A5 for international or Australian operation. The builder has used a lifetime of skill as a builder, owner and operator of large passenger ferries. Due to his retirement this vessel is surplus to requirement. 3 x Caterpillar 3412E engines rated up to 1200hp. 2 x 85 kVA generators. Passenger numbers are between 250 and 300, depending on configuration, classification society and area of operation.
